The basic principle of the voltage stabilizer

Lets try to understand the basic principle of the voltage stabilizer.

Volt Addition

See the figure, here we have connected two batteries one is 6v and another one is 8v.

Now lets compare the AC operations.

In AC operations, we use transformers, Transformers for voltage up and downs, we call it as step up and step down.
AC Stabilizer Operations
Here we have transformers with the ratio of 230 volt and 12 volt. While appealing volt to the 230 volts we get the ratio of 12 volts by the transformer.

Now in this case, transformers remain same and voltage remains same, and now we applying 115 volts here we get the ratio of 115 by the transformers.

Hence, here + is connected to the + and – is connected to the -. So the voltage is definitely to be reduce.
